In 2013 Australian New York City resident Yael Stone portrayed inmate "Lorna" Morello in Orange Is the New Black. Yael Stone attended NIDA. Yael, despite her young age, has had the privilege of learning from one of Australia's best storytellers. Yael has had a long and successful career with a thriving career in Australia. A continuing collaboration with Australia's much-lauded director Neil Armfield culminated in the internationally-renowned production Diary of a Madman, in which she starred opposite Academy- Emmy- and Tony Award-winning actor Geoffrey Rush. Yael's new life in New York City began when her show was critically-acclaimed at the Brooklyn Academy of Music. Yael co-founded The Cannery. It's located in Bushwick Brooklyn and works out of Brooklyn to encourage innovative creativity, new writing.
