Amy Amy Janet JanetAubrey Plaza, born June 26th, 1984 is an actress and comedian recognized for her deadpan style of humor. Plaza portrays April Ludgate, a character on"The Parks and Recreation" series "Parks and Recreation" series. Following her improv performances and sketch comedy at the Upright Citizens Brigade Theater and her debut web-series with "The Jeannie Tate Show", Plaza went on to be a part of Judd Aplio's "Funny People" and Scott Pilgrim vs. the World after her death. This is her birthday today. Aubrey Christina Plaza was born in Wilmington, Delaware, the daughter of lawyer Bernadette Plaza as well as finance specialist David Plaza. Her father is Puerto Rican, while her mother is Irish and English. Plaza graduated from the New York University's Tisch School of the Arts and an Catholic girls' school, which both took place in 2002. When she was a senior in high school Plaza served as the director of the Wilmington Drama League and a participant in its student body. Plaza suffered a stroke in 2004 as she was entering her second year of her college career. She developed expressive aphasia and suffered an ephemeral period of weakness. The patient is now completely healed.
